This is a branding project of an official organization of students in Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan (Educational Faculty) of Universitas Islam Kuantan Singingi (UNIKS), in Riau, Indonesia.
This faculty teaches students to become a professional teacher. In indonesia, teacher commonly called as 'pahlawan tanpa tanda jasa.' And that's what TANTAJA stands for, TANTAJA means 'Tanpa Tanda Jasa', or known as 'unsung hero' in English.
Discussion :
To start everything out, we discussed the core idea of the new organization branding identity with the new leader of the organization.
After through an intens discussion, we decided to make the branding of the organization appears bolder and fresher than the current one, yet still related to the origin of the faculty identity.
In the other hand, this concept for the branding is also relative to the program of the new structure of the organization. From this brief, we start to sketch.

Color of Tantaja :
For the color, we decided to use vibrant green color to express freshness, youth, and renewing. Green that inspires was the green leaves of a banana tree. Banana is a great plan in some ways. A banana tree will not die untill it has fruit that's growing, even if someone or something force it to die. But once the fruit riped, the tree will die by itself. What a great way to live a life.
Copy of Tantaja
For the font, we want it not just to fit the logo, but also delivering the voice of the brand. And finally we decided to go with 'Oskar' that designed by Paul van der Laan from Bold Monday as logotype, and 'Montserrat' that designed by Julieta Ulanovsky to accompany the logoytpe 'Oskar'.
The new Tantaja
We finally arrived to the target that we have set from the beginning. The brand new Tantaja is now live and ready to roll.
